    Capstone Project

The Duke GMP covers many topics, connecting to the many roles that organizational and team leaders play. Central to these topics is value creation for the organization internally with stakeholders and/or externally with customers and clients. The capstone project for the Duke GMP involves each participant developing a strategic plan for an opportunity related to those covered in the program and applying the plan in their company, division, business function, or product line. Projects should consider and integrate across several dimensions of the topics covered in the program. The capstone should emphasize the impact on key stakeholders and related value creation opportunities. The project is largely self-directed by program participants, though there will be periodic group check-ins with the full cohort and with small peer groups outside of designated faculty teaching sessions. During the last module of the program, participants will present their projects to a small peer group in break-out sessions. Participants in each break-out session will choose one capstone project to be presented to the full cohort on the final day of the program.
